Valdosta State offensive tackle Richard Collier (75) blocks for quarterback Barrett Wilkes during a September 2005 game. Doctors say Collier is paralyzed below the waist and that they amputated one of his legs. Collier was shot and critically wounded earlier this month as he sat in a vehicle outside an apartment building with a former teammate. Doctors say he has 14 bullet wounds, but is now in stable condition. No one has been arrested.
