Debbie Allen, a senior biologist at Wild Adventures, gives Shirley, an Asian elephant, her three-foot-long candy cane Christmas treat. At 69 years old, Shirley is the second oldest elephant in captivity. The candy cane was specially prepared by Lofty Pursuits of Tallahassee, Fla.
