Bubba Thomas | Special to the Times Valdosta State’s Courtney Albritton was named the Gulf South Conference’s Freshman and Player of the Year in 2012, leading the Blazers in hitting en route to their first-ever national championship. Albritton will be just a sophomore in 2013.
