• The Valdosta-Lowndes Parks and Recreation Authority (VLPRA) will host the annual Spirit of America fireworks show on Wednesday, July 4, beginning around 9:30 p.m. The best location to view the firework display is on the east side of I-75 around the Valdosta Mall/Norman Drive area.
• Wild Adventures will also be hosting fireworks tonight. The show will start at approximately 9:00 p.m. In honor of The Fourth of July, the park is giving all active or retired military, disabled veterans and military reservists free admission from Sunday, July 1 - Sunday, July 8.
