Neighbors Daniela and Leonel Alcantara broke out a window to the bedroom and pulled the bedspread and sheets off the bed in an attempt to see if someone was asleep as the home filled with smoke. The couple stated that the fire appeared to have started in the kitchen area of the house Wednesday morning.
