VALDOSTA — The Valdosta Daily Times phone system is currently down and numerous Verizon customers are experiencing issues, along with other phone companies. At this time, the systems are being affected by issues created in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Numerous routers and other links run through the northeast for major carriers, and they are working diligently to resolve the issues.
