Police say about 20 rounds from multiple weapons were fired about 6 p.m. Saturday. The rapper, whose real name was Jerode Paige, was shot in the head and died at the scene.

Police said three others, including the girl, suffered non-life threatening injuries. Two adults who were injured were questioned by police as “people of interest” after they were treated for their injuries, Lt. Sam Parks said.

The 27-year-old victim was filming his first video to go with his latest CD. The CD cover depicts a crime scene with police investigating what appears to be a dead person in the middle of the street. The crime scene tape reads, “Yung Hott Killin ’Em.”

The victim’s uncle, Kenny Paige, said about 150 to 200 people were working on the video or watching the action. Parks said a person walked up to the group and told them to leave. Then the confrontation that resulted in Paige’s death began.
