The Valdosta Police Department, the Valdosta Fire Department and South Georgia Medical Center’s Mobile Healthcare Services responded Thursday to an accident involving a Ford F250 and a motorcycle. According to police, the driver of the motorcycle was traveling behind the F250 when the truck made a left turn. The motorcycle driver was reportedly driving too fast and was not able to stop in time and clipped the front left fender of the truck. The motorcycle crashed in a ditch at the intersection of Herbert Street and Cypress Street. The driver of the motorcycle was reportedly treated for scrapes and bruises at the scene but was not transported to the hospital.
