Pastor Velma Calhoun prepares her booth Friday for the Flatlanders Frolic. The Lanier County Lions Club will sponsor its 40th Flatlanders Fall Frolic today. Activities include an Arts and Crafts Show, a Dawg-Gone Good Race, and a Frolic Concert. The Arts and Crafts show will kick off at 9 a.m. at the Threatte Center in Lakeland. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children between the ages of 6 and 12. Until 5 p.m., visitors can enjoy antiques, special activities for children, and more. The Dawg-Gone Good Race (a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run) will begin at 8 a.m. in the First Baptist Church parking lot. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. The Frolic Concert will feature Sundance Jenkins outside the Threatte Center and guests should bring a lawn chair. Tickets are $3 for adults and $1 for children between the ages of 6 and 12. The music will begin at 7 p.m.
