VALDOSTA — Valdosta Police Department



Monday



At 6:13 p.m., in the 1700 block of Norman Drive, a 15-year-old juvenile was arrested and charged with shoplifting after taking $4 worth of merchandise from the business, reports stated.



At 4:41 p.m., in the 1500 block of East Park Avenue, police responded in reference to a dispute, reports stated. The complainant stated her ex-husband physically assaulted her, according to reports. Jerry Allen Martin, 32, was arrested and charged with battery, criminal trespass private property and other offenses not covered, reports  stated.



Sunday



Between 3 p.m. Friday and noon Sunday, in the 1600 block of Garland Place, a complainant stated an unknown person(s) entered his vehicle and stole the stereo valued at $250, according to reports.



Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office



Monday



Between 8:38 a.m. and 6 p.m., in the 6400 block of Ocean Pond Avenue, deputies responded to a burglary of a non-residence, reports stated. A complainant stated items were stolen, according to reports.



At 7:30 p.m., in the 1100 block of Old Statenville Road, Johnson McQueen, 29, was arrested and charged with obstruction of an officer, reports stated.



At noon, in the 5600 block of Boys Ranch Road, a deputy responded in reference to an unruly juvenile, reports stated. The juvenile was arrested and charged with simple battery, according to reports.



Sunday



Between 8 p.m. June 1 and 5 p.m. Sunday, in the 3300 block of Sweet Gum Drive, deputies responded in reference to a burglary, reports stated. The complainant stated over $1,500 worth of property was stolen from her shed, according to reports.
