VALDOSTA — Valdosta Police Department



Sunday

• More than $3,200 in clothes was taken in a burglary in the 200 block of North Forrest Street between noon July 13 and 12:58 p.m. Sunday, along with $1,200 in electronics, $349 of consumables and $69 of other items, according to reports.

• Police arrested John Henry Jones Jr., 28, of Valdosta,  at 7:31 a.m. in the 300 block of East Hill Avenue, on charges of probation violation and convicted felon in possession of a firearm, according to reports.

• A report of someone seen searching the interior of a car led to the arrest of Donald Shadix, age not given, of Valdosta, in the 2100 block of West Hill Avenue at 4:29 a.m. on charges of theft by entering auto, theft by receiving stolen property and obstructing a law enforcement officer, according to reports.

• A physical altercation led to a charge of battery against Jordan Graham, 26, of Valdosta, in the300 block of Brookfield Road around 2:22 a.m., according to reports.

• A husband and wife from Quitman were both arrested after police responded to a report of a physical dispute in the 2100 block of West Hill Avenue at 1:27 a.m., according to reports. Marty Holtzclaw, 26, and Jessica Holtzclaw, 25, both of Quitman, were each charged with simple battery, say police department reports.



Saturday

• A traffic stop for a defective brake light led to charges against a Valdosta woman at 11:28 p.m. in the 500 block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, according to reports. Katrina Blanton, 50, of Valdosta, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, equipment violations and other traffic violations, say reports.
