VALDOSTA — The Valdosta Police Department



Thursday

Between 2 p.m. Tuesday and 6:14 a.m. Thursday, in the 1400 block of Leone Avenue, a complainant reported an unknown person(s) entered the residence through a window and stole property valued at $1,000, reports stated.



Wednesday

 At 11:36 p.m., in the 3000 block of Tara Drive, Heather M. Bunyard, 32, was arrested and charged with a DUI, reports stated.



At 11:56 p.m., in the 600 block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, police conducted a traffic stop, reports stated. As a result, Rodrick Eugene Frazier, 25, was arrested and charged with marijuana possession, a driver’s license violation and other traffic violations, according to reports.



At 10:18 p.m., in the 300 block of Norman Drive, Jerome Berrien, 45, was arrested and charged with shoplifting after attempting to take over $100 worth of merchandise, reports stated.



At 6:27 p.m., in the 1500 block of Baytree Road, police responded in reference to shoplifting, reports stated. Two adult females were reported to have taken over $300 worth of merchandise, according to reports. Lamesha Lundy, 26, and Nyesha Chechere, 25, were arrested and charged with shoplifting, reports stated.



Between 12:01 a.m. Monday and 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, in the 900 block of Greenwood Drive, police responded in reference to a theft, reports stated. A complainant stated an unknown person(s) entered her vehicle and stole items valued at over $80, according to reports.



At 8:39 p.m., in the 3100 block of North Oak Street, police conducted a traffic stop when the driver disregarded a traffic control signal, reports stated. Miguel Sanchez, 25, was arrested and charged for driving without a valid license, improper child restraint of a 1-year-old and other traffic violations, according to reports.  



At 7:48 p.m., in the 200 block of North Lee Street, Phillip A. Drummond Jr. ,34, was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license and a seat belt violation, according to reports.



At 11:43 a.m., in the 2100 block of Bemiss Road, the complainant stated four people used counterfeit money to pay for merchandise, reports stated. The suspects were arrested and charged with forgery in the second degree. One was also charged with possession of marijuana, according to reports. James Harper, 22, Ashley Nicole Gaines, 21, and Vanessa Nicole Mirelles, 22, were all charged with forgery, and Yasmeen Williams, 21, was charged with forgery plus possession of marijuana, reports stated. All four are from Lithonia.



At 11:30 a.m., in the 700 block of East Park Avenue, police conducted  a traffic stop for reckless driving, reports stated. The stop resulted in the driver, Clinton Timmins, 50, being arrested and charged with reckless driving and driving without a valid license, according to reports.



Tuesday

 At 10 p.m., in the 1800 block of Eastwind Road, a victim stated an unknown black male pointed a gun at two white males and took $300 cash from them and their cell phones, according to reports.
