At 3:40 a.m., police responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of North Oak Street Extension and North Ashley Street, reports stated. Upon investigating, it was determined the driver was operating a vehicle without a license. Juan Luis Salinas Cortes, 30, was arrested and charged with driving too fast for road conditions, driver’s license violation and other traffic violations, reports stated.
At 2:23 a.m., police initiated a traffic stop on a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder at the 1100 block of North Oak Street which resulted in an arrest, according to reports. During the investigation, it was discovered Michael Emerson Price, 24, was driving with a suspended driver’s license, no valid insurance and the vehicle registration status was suspended, reports stated.
Wednesday
At 9:29 p.m., in the 200 block of West Adair Street, Ericka Charlen Henderson, 33, was arrested for violation of probation, according to police.
At 8:27 p.m., in the 900 block of East Force Street, police stopped a driver after she ran a stop sign, according to reports. Kelly D. Jackson, 35, was arrested and charged with a registration violation, failure to have a valid driver’s license and reckless driving, reports stated.
At 6:56 p.m., in the 1000 block of Old Statenville Road, police arrested Fredrick Leon Stewart, 29, for a probation violation, according to reports.
At 7:50 a.m., police responded to the 900 block of South Lakeshore Drive where a burglary had occurred, according to reports. The resident said an unknown person(s) broke into his house and stole several items valued at $3,605, reports stated.
At 3:27 p.m., police responded to a domestic violence call in the 1000 block of Albert Road. The resident stated that his child’s mother had poured bleach on his clothing and hit him, reports said. The victim had visible marks on his shoulders, according to police. Candice Fulton, 23, was arrested and charged with battery, criminal trespass and vandalism, reports stated.
At 1:52 a.m., in the 600 block of Mack Drive, a resident called police and reported an alarm activation, according to reports. Upon police arrival, it was determined a person(s) attempted to take property from the residence and did, in fact, take property from the resident’s vehicle valued at $2,000, reports stated.
At 3:06 p.m., in the 2600 block of North Patterson Street, police conducted a traffic stop, resulting in an arrest, reports stated. The driver was stopped for speeding in a school zone. Upon investigating, according to police, it was determined the driver had a suspended license. Dana M. Faircloth-Winters, 41, was charged with not having a 4-year-old properly restrained in the back seat, speeding and driver’s license violation, reports said.
