VALDOSTA — Valdosta Police Department



Sunday

• A burglary on Judy Lane between 3:45 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. resulted in $201 in cash plus $413 in jewelry being taken, according to police reports. Sierra Nicole Pope, 20, of Valdosta, was charged with burglary forced entry to a residence, say reports.

• Police stopped a vehicle for it’s tag light being out at 2:23 a.m. in the 2000 block of Jerry Jones Drive, according to reports. Travis Jones, 24, of Valdosta, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and equipment violations, say reports.



Saturday

•A report of shots fired at a disorderly party was investigated by police at 1:35 a.m. in the 1500 block of Boone Drive. Three residents were charged with disorderly house for allowing and encouraging a turbulent crowd to congregate at their home, say reports. A party attendee was charged with interference when she attempted to prevent officers from investigating the incident, according to reports. Jermel Garrick Daniels, 23, Justin Jamal Head, 22, and Victor Bernard Jones, 23, of Valdosta, were each charged with other offenses not covered, while Jasmine Christ Stalnaker, 19, of Valdosta, was charged with interference of an officer, say police reports.

• A traffic stop for someone not wearing a seat belt led to charges against a passenger in the car for giving a false name, according to reports. Tammie Jenkins, 46, of Valdosta, was charged with interference of an officer at 8:48 a.m. in the 600 block of East Brookwood Drive, say reports.



Friday

• A burglary in the 500 block of East Adair Street at 7:41 p.m. resulted in the loss of PlayStation 3, PSP and Wii game machines, plus a wedding band, two books of DVDs, a bike and a digital camera, valued together at $3,901, say police reports.

• A Valdostan was charged after hitting a woman in the face at 10:31 p.m. in the 700 block of East Hill Avenue, according to reports. Ozell Register, 51, of Valdosta, was charged with battery, say reports.



Thursday

• A traffic stop for having no tag light resulted in a man being charged with driving on a suspended license and having no insurance, according to police reports. Larry McBurrough Jr., 32, of Valdosta, was charged at 11:03 p.m. in the 1100 block of North St. Augustine Road with driver’s license violation and no insurance, say reports.
