Police Department



Sunday

A robbery took place at Bojangles, 1725 W. Hill Ave., around 12:40 a.m. when an unknown person took a victim from outside the incident location into the incident location at gunpoint and took money, according to a police department report.

Police arrested Nita Williams, 46, of Valdosta, at 2:55 a.m. in the 400 block of South Forrest Street on charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and following too close, according to reports.



Saturday

Police arrested Bobby Lee Langston Jr., 28, of Valdosta, at 11:29 p.m. in the 1800 block of North Ashley Street on charges of cocaine possession, marijuana possession and other offenses not covered, according to reports.

Around 7:50 p.m., police arrested Wanda Duncan, 32, of Valdosta, in the 1800 block of North Ashley Street on a charge of disorderly conduct, according to reports.

Police investigated a burglary that took place between 6:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of Sheridan Place, resulting in $250 in damage to a door and the loss of a PlayStation 3 game machine worth $500, according to reports.

A cement yard angel was dug up and removed without permission sometime between 2 p.m. Nov. 3 and 1:15 p.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of North Sherwood Drive, according to reports. A second, plastic angel was also damaged. The angels together were valued at $175, according to reports.



Friday

About $350 in goods were taken during a burglary between 10:45 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of North Oak Street, according to reports.

A burglary in the 1400 block of West Magnolia Street between 6 a.m. Nov. 3 and 2:45 p.m. Friday resulted in the loss of $3,000 of goods, according to reports.

Police investigated a robbery at Dollar General, 800 Madison Highway, that took place at 11:47 a.m. when the manager confronted three people n reference to taking items from the store, according to reports. One of the subjects reportedly used a weapon to get the items; the subjects then tried to run the manager over in the parking lot, according to the police report.

A burglary on Macon Place between 4:58 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. resulted in the loss of $500 of office equipment and $1,300 in electronics, according to reports.



Thursday

Police arrested Leviticus Rodrigus Lee, 38, of Nashville, Ga., around 7:40 a.m. in the 700 block of Woodlawn Drive on charges of aggravated assault of a family member - other weapon and other offenses not covered, according to reports.
