-- — Whose side is he on?
Every time Obama comes on television the same question pops in my mind. “Is he going to blame someone, or something, this time?”
He can’t continue to blame Bush after three years, so now he’s moved on. It’s TEA party “terrorists,” Fox News, uncooperative Republicans, the weather, earthquakes, volcanoes, global warming, the Arab spring, Captain Kirk and the Klingons, grandma’s arthritis, or anything else he thinks he can throw against the wall and hope it might stick.
It’s a shame he refuses to hire Herman Cain to help him get out of this economic quagmire we’re in; but then, I honestly believe we are right where he wants us.
He has spent his entire life enveloped in a socialistic bubble, surrounded by socialists feeding off each other’s codswallop rhetoric. Now our brainless/spineless Congress has given him a green light to systematically destroy our military and Medicaid at the same time. This leads me to ask, “Why do we need 535 senators and congressmen when 12 “super committee” members are apparently capable of doing what our entire Congress can’t?
I think we should fire all of the bums and take away their pensions and retirement! Above all, they need to be held accountable for their part in the destruction of America. Every single one of them.
Do you want proof about Obama? He recently appointed Jeffrey Immelt (CEO of General Electric) as head of the President’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. Not only did GE make $14.2 billion profit last year, but paid no taxes. Today, it is announced that GE is merging with China on a multi-billion-dollar deal to manufacture airplanes in direct competition with American jobs. Want more proof? Immelt has moved GE’s entire X-ray division to China, closing down thousands of jobs here.
What is wrong with this picture? Nothing, if Jeffrey Immelt was the head of the President’s Council on Jobs for the Chinese government, but he is supposed to be working for us!
Did I mention Immelt and GE continued to secretly do business with Iran when we had an embargo against Iran? Here are more disturbing facts. While our government is forcing the shutting down of coal plants here in the U.S., it is subsidizing the building of coal plants in foreign countries to the tune of billions of dollars.
In my opinion, Obama has got to be out to destroy America, and is doing a grand job of it.
Obama and his minions’ favorite mantra is, “It’s about time the millionaires pay their fair share.” However, they fail to mention the top 1 percent of these millionaire wage earners pay 35 percent of the taxes. The top 5 percent pay 60 percent of all taxes, while the bottom 50 percent pays nothing. Not one dime. But this 50 percent get most of the entitlements. I say it’s time the bottom 50 percent pay their fair share.
But that’s just me, a simple minded conservative.

Dr. King Memorial Dedication
Plans are made for Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011. Our nation and world will see and witness a part of history. The Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial will be dedicated. It will be the first major memorial along the National Mall in Washington, D.C., to be dedicated to an African-American and to a non-president. It was Aug. 28, 1963, when Dr. King delivered his most famous speech, “I Have A Dream.” Forty-eight years later, he is being honored with a memorial.
Not only did he fight for justice, freedom, equality, peace, hope, etc., for African-Americans but for all races and humanity. We thank God for sending our country and world such a great leader. Dr. King’s contributions and vision not only reached over America, but it reached all over the world.
In 1996, Congress passed a Joint Resolution authorizing the construction of the Memorial. So it is only fitting on the 48th anniversary of Dr. King’s “I Have A Dream” spoken at the Lincoln Memorial that another dream comes true with his memorial.
One of many people who will take part in the dedication ceremony will be our first African-American President of the Unites States, President Barack Obama. May God continue to bless America and the World. The “I Have A Dream” speech is just as powerful now as it was 48 years ago.

Pray for the President
In regards to all the different people who are bashing our President, we need to be praying for him because all the mess that you all are trying to blame him for was already in the White House before he was elected.
You better hope to the good Lord that the Republicans don’t get back in the White House or it is going to be some soup lines somewhere.
And as for Star Parker, she needs to shut up. Times are hard on poor blacks and poor whites. We don’t even make any kind of garments in the United States anymore. Buildings are empty that used to work. People were willing to work.
My 7-year-old great-grandson told me “All my toys are made in China and Japan. Why don’t have anything made here?”
I am still going to vote for our President and God bless him and his family.
