Two arrested by drug task force


ADEL — In the past month, the South Georgia Drug Task Force has arrested two Cook County men on drug charges.

On June 29, at approximately 2:45 p.m., the task force, along with Sparks Police Department officers and Cook County Sheriff’s Office deputies, arrested Corey Byron, 31, of Lenox, and charged him with possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and cocaine possession, according to a press release.

On July 17, at approximately 5 p.m., task force agents, Cook County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Adel Police Department officers arrested Timothy Lorae Wolf Jr. of Adel. Wolf was charged with sale of crack cocaine to undercover agents, the release stated.
