VALDOSTA —
The Valdosta Daily Times’ fall Yard Sale Saturday is sold out. The bi-annual event at the Lowndes County Civic Center on U.S. 84 will feature hundreds of vendors and private individuals selling a wide variety of items.
“We’ve always had great success with our Yard Sales,” said Advertising Director Mae Stokes. “Every spot we had available both inside and outside is rented, so this may be one of our biggest events ever.”
Individuals selling items from their homes, including clothing, furniture, dishware, etc., will be joined by others selling handmade items, such as children's clothing and a variety of baked goods, plus a number of vendors with a variety of merchandise available.
The doors will open promptly at 7 a.m. Saturday and the sale will conclude at noon. Vendors can set their booths up on Friday afternoon and beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday before the doors open to the public.
