Continuing a 16-year tradition, Valdosta’s Main Street Program recently announced the release of its 2008 limited edition Christmas ornament.
The new ornament is of golden color and features a hunter green and metallic illustration of the historic First National Bank (c.1884) building, also known as the Wisenbaker Building. Lt. H. Mike Courson of the Valdosta Police Department drew the rendition of the building that appears on this year’s ornament.
The Christmas ornament can be purchased at the Valdosta Main Street Program office, which can be found on the first floor of the City Hall Annex, 300 N. Lee Street. Ornaments from years 2004 through 2008 are $10 each, and all other ornaments are $6 each.
