HOMERVILLE — In two separate cases, agents with the South Georgia Drug Task Force nabbed four in Clinch County recently.
On Jan. 14, the South Georgia Drug Task Force, as well as Region 4 Douglas of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, apprehended Jaratt Williams (1989), Dennard Grady (1991), both of Homerville, and a juvenile following a traffic stop for an improperly displayed tag, task force reports stated.
Agents reported that consent was given to search the vehicle and its occupants.
During this search, a small bag of marijuana was discovered under the passenger seat, and 27 bags of marijuana were found on the juvenile, reports stated.
The suspects were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, reports stated.
The Clinch County Sheriff’s Office and Homerville Police Department assisted with the arrests.
Also on Jan. 14, South Georgia Drug Task Force, as well as Region 4 Douglas of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, agents tried serving an arrest warrant for violation of probation during a traffic stop on Reddick Street in Homerville, task force reports stated.
The suspect reportedly refused to exit her vehicle and had to be removed by agents and officers with the Clinch County Sheriff’s Office, the Homerville Police Department and the State Probation Office.
Upon removal, the suspect reportedly continued to resist, struggle and kick authorities.
Two other persons obstructed and hindered law enforcement officers from making an arrest, stated reports.
Clifford Magby (1958) and Janice Magby (1957), both of Homerville, were arrested and charged with obstruction of law enforcement, according to reports.
Lakesha Gamble (1979) was arrested and charged with violation of probation and obstruction of law enforcement, reports stated.
