Holland America Line’s Explorer Coaches departed Seattle in October 2009 to tour the United States promoting Holland America Line’s 2010 Cruises and CruiseTours to Alaska and the Yukon. Seminars and events will be held aboard the coaches by Alaska/Yukon Experts in Valdosta at South Georgia Travel, 1300 Baytree Road, at 3 p.m. today.
The era of these luxury touring vehicles began with a single “Moose Mobile” in 2005 and has since grown into a fleet of more than 40 of the custom coaches. In addition to the many interior innovations, each coach’s exterior is also fully wrapped with a stunning Alaskan landscape graphic of a moose, grizzly bear, or killer whale. From October through March, two of these special eye-catching coaches hit the road in the ‘Lower 48’ to showcase the comfort and elegance of Holland America Line’s Alaska and Yukon overland tours.
