The Stone Creek Swim Team is hosting the 2nd Annual Kid’s Triathlon Aug. 8, at the Stone Creek Pool. Participants will swim 100 yards, bike 5 kilometers and run 1 kilometer in that order. The race begins at 8 a.m.
Part of the proceeds from this event will go to His Hands Ministry, a local ministry serving the youth of Valdosta in and around the housing units of the community.
Applications can be picked up at Get Active or the Valdosta Bike Center. Participants can turn in their applications and registration fees at Get Active or the Stone Creek Club House by Aug. 6.
