Markeshia Thomas and Joshua Davis were honored at the Madison County High School Awards Night for enlisting into the U.S. Army Reserves.
Thomas enlisted to be a Unit Supply Specialist and received a check for $24,444 to continue her education after her enlistment into the U.S. Army Reserves. While in the Army Reserves she will receive 100 percent tuition assistance. She also received a check in the amount of $20,000 as an enlistment bonus. She will be assigned to the 160th Military Police Company in Tallahassee, Fla., while attending Florida State University.
Joshua “Logan” Davis enlisted to be a military policeman and received a check in the amount of $24,444 to continue his education after his enlistment into the Army Reserves. While in the Army Reserves he will receive 100 percent tuition assistance. He also received a check for $20,000 as an enlistment bonus. He will be assigned to the 160th Military Police Company in Tallahassee while attending North Florida Community College.
