VALDOSTA — The South Georgia House of Hope was presented 12 handmade quilts recently by the women of Abundant Life Church of God. Pastor Wayne Hughes and his wife, Cheryl, set up a rally at their church after attending a luncheon on the farm with the ladies in recovery at House of Hope. The entire church participated in the project by praying over the quilts and giving a financial offering. South Georgia House of Hope is a one-year Christian home for women who have struggled with drugs, alcohol or abuse. It is located in Valdosta. Call (229) 241-2707 to learn more.
