LAKELAND —
On Aug. 6, Cassidy Gilliard, Lanier County FFA’s chapter president, and Shannon Danforth, advisor, visited the Ronald McDonald House in Macon.
The two had 12 gallons of aluminum can tabs, a donation to the charity. Lanier County FFA had been collecting the tabs since second semester of last year.
For over 35 years, the Ronald McDonald House has provided a home away from home for families with children facing dire illnesses or injuries at no cost. This year, the 300th house will be built.
