VALDOSTA —
Domino’s Pizza on Northside Drive suffered a bit of forced downtime, at around 2:30 p.m. Friday, after a man held up the restaurant and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Valdosta Police Department detectives and crime-scene technicians were analyzing the scene while investigators and canine units canvassed the perimeter, said Valdosta Police Cmdr. Brian Childress.
Authorities could only provide a rudimentary description of the robber, stated Childress. The robber was described only as an African-American male in his mid 30s, said Childress.
No one was reportedly injured during the robbery. Authorities were still looking for a suspect Friday evening.
