VALDOSTA — Firefighters battled a blaze in the 100 block of Second Avenue in Valdosta Saturday. A passerby who was taking photos of trains noticed a house on fire around 4:07 p.m., and called 911. The cause of the fire is unknown. No injuries were reported and no one was at home at the time.
