VALDOSTA — The Valdosta Daily Times is currently accepting original Thanksgiving-related poems and artwork from area school-age children for its Thanksgiving Day issue. All poems are to be submitted via email to jessica.pope@gaflnews.com. All artwork can be dropped off at the newspaper’s office at 201 North Troup Street or mailed to The Valdosta Daily Times, Attn: Jessica Pope, P.O. Box 968, Valdosta, Ga. 31603. All submissions should feature a first and last name, city and age. Please note that, due to limited space, all submissions will not appear in the newspaper. Any additional ones will be posted at The Times’ newspaper for kids Web site Tween Tribune. The deadline for submitting all items is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
