The Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) announced recently the receipt of a grant totaling $95,460 earmarked for its motorcycle safety training known as the Georgia Motorcycle Safety Program (GMSP).
The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) approved the funding to be used for increasing the awareness of motorists and motorcyclists on sharing the road responsibly and safely. The funds will be used to purchase much-needed equipment to support all of GMSP’s efforts.
