VALDOSTA — The second suspect in the Nov. 15 mass shooting at Hudson Dockett remains at large.
Valdosta Police Cmdr. Brian Childress said that police have still not been able to locate 39-year-old Trumain Sidney Small, who is identified as a “key player in the incident.”
He is being charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, Childress added.
“The suspect is considered armed and dangerous,” Childress said. “If anyone knows his whereabouts, they should contact law enforcement immediately.”
Another suspect, Bernard Sanders, 24, has already been arrested and charged with felony murder for his alleged involvement in the shooting.
The shooting occurred around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15. Eleven people were reportedly shot during the incident, including 19-year-old Sidney Bivens, who succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to the hospital.
Of the people shot, three were juveniles, two 16-year-olds and a 12-year-old, police previously told The Times.
Witnesses at the scene of the shooting said the incident may have resulted from an argument that occurred earlier at an area club.
