Search leads to drug arrests
SPARKS — A search warrant led to the arrest of three people on drug charges Monday.
The South Georgia Drug Task Force assisted the Cook County Sheriff’s Office in serving a search warrant at a residence on Brushy Creek Drive in Sparks, according to a press release from the task force. Sparks Police Department and Irwin County Sheriff’s Office also assisted. As a result of the search, John Troy III, Thea Troy and Tony Wright were arrested and are charged with marijuana possession, according to the Task Force.
