Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Kisha Wright of Valdosta is providing medical care to wounded Haitians. Wright is a Navy Corpsman stationed aboard amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44) and is working from the Killick Haitian Coast Guard Base.
She and her shipmates aboard Gunston Hall are part of the international relief efforts for Operation Unified Response, after a 7.0 magnitude earthquake caused severe damage in and around Port-au-Prince, Haiti Jan. 12.
