Sfc. Mike Wiggins and Sgt. Kristi Reach presented the following awards for the month of January: Teacher of the Month to Jim Dickerson, Student of the Month to Grace McLaine and Athlete of the Month to Shaniqua Jones, all of Clinch County High School. Valdosta U.S. Army Recruiting Station is Community Partners in Education (CPIE) with Clinch County High School. The purpose of the CPIE program is to encourage greater student achievement in school systems by developing partnerships between individual schools and area businesses, industries, civic, church and community groups. The Valdosta U.S. Army Recruiting Station is committed to activities intended to benefit students, improve student achievement and accomplish school improvement goals.
