Creekside Tavern: Gornto Road. Creekside Idol continues.



El Toreo: Both locations, Gornto Road and North Valdosta Road. DJ spins music starting 9 p.m.



Kat’s Lounge: 4677 Bemiss Road, 9 p.m. Karaoke, thousands of selections. No cover.



Mikki’s: 402 Northside Drive. Texas Hold ’em. Games start 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. No cover.



Quality Inn Lounge: 1902 W. Hill Ave. Karaoke and dance music.



Recital: Whitehead Auditorium, Valdosta State University Fine Arts Building, corner of Oak and Brookwood, starts 7:30 p.m. Tod Leavitt, contrabass, and Lyle Indergaard, piano, present a VSU Music faculty recital of music by Eccles, Dragonetti, Christian Berg, Niblock, Proto and Tom Johnson. Admission: Free.



Walker’s Drive-In: Crossroads of Highway 122 and 125, 8 p.m.-midnight. Ben Banks and Mike Denhamen, regional musicians, play. All musicians welcome. No cover charge.
