Bobbie Lee Nichols, 66 of Valdosta passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at her residence. She was born on Aug. 25, 1945 in Los Angeles, Calif.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Jo Nichols, father, Lloyd Max Owens, son, Kevin Stanley Nichols, two brothers, Harold Tarpley and Lloyd Max “Timber” Owens.
She is survived by her son, Billy Jo Nichols of Chattanooga, Tenn.; daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia Ann Morton (David), Oklahoma City, Okla., Kimberly Michelle Morgan (Jim), Valdosta, Sherry Lynn Placzkowski, Lake Park; granddaughters, Stevie Predue, Kyla Godfrey (Anthony), Brandy Placzkowski, Sara Placzkowski, Sarah Sullens (Alex), Jessie Nichols, Carla Williams; grandsons, Bryan Predue (Amber), William Joseph Nichols, Timothy Johnson, Cody Floyd, Shawn Floyd; three great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; daughter-in-law, Dennis Nichols; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy Hamm (Joe), Lawrenceville, Laura Bustillos, San Bimas, Calif.; brothers, Larry Owens, Odgen, Utah, Gary Owens, Odgen, Utah, David Owens, Minn.; step mother, Julie Owens, Ogden, Utah; loving companion, Scooter.
Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012 at her daughter’s home, Kimberly Morgan, 5451 McLeod Drive, Valdosta.
