Glenn Harper, 76 of Clinch County, Ga. passed away Thursday Sept. 13, 2012 at The Satilla Hospice House in Waycross, Ga. after a lengthy illness. He was born June 15, 1936 in Coffee County, Ga. to the late Johnny and Beatrice (Stevens) Harper. He is a member of the New Vision Church of God in Homerville, Ga. and is retired from the Clinch County Road Department.
Survivors Include is wife: Lydia Howell Harper, Homerville, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda J. and (Billy J.) Lee, Homerville, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and (Michael) Ivey, Douglas, Ga.; son William Harper, Lakeland, Ga.; son, Leonard Dale, Homerville, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and (Cathy) Harper, Nashville, Ga.; sister, Margaret Moody, Homerville, Ga.; sister, Geneva Hardy, Homerville, Ga.; sister, Elizabeth Burney, Ala.; Sister, Evelyn Taylor, Nashville, Ga.; sister, Barbara Ann Harper, Douglas, Ga.; brother, Jimmy Harper, Douglas, Ga.; brother, Billy Harper, Douglas, Ga.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren’ a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 in the Arabia Cemetery in Clinch County, Ga. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7-9 p.m.
