John Walter “Walt” Bristol, 57, of Nashville, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 18, 1954, in Berrien County to A.J. Bristol and the late Ora Mae Bryan. He was employed with Southern States Ag Services and was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Parker Bristol of Nashville; father, A.J. Bristol of Nashville; four sisters, Barbara (Gene) Williams of Adel, Betty (Donald) Royals of Nashville, Ree (Kim) Miller of Nashville, and Nell (Danny) Guess of Gainesville; three brothers, Jeff Bristol of Nashville, Billy (Debbie) Bristol of Nashville, and Donald (Shirley) Bristol of Ocilla; sister-in-law, Tonya Parker of Adel; brother-in-law, Jeff (Patricia) Parker of Adel; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at the Flat Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey and Mr. Franklin Luke officiating. Interment will follow in Flat Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. today. — Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville
