Mrs. Rosa Lee Delk Smith, 79, passed away Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, in the Clinch Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Smith was born Aug. 18, 1933, in Clinch County, to the late Tharpe Delk and Mary Jane Herrin Delk. She was a Mormon by faith and had worked at Standard Container. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ralph Smith, three brothers: George Raymond Delk, A. V. Delk and T. E. Delk and two sisters: Edna Fitchett and Olie Mae Swearington.
Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law: Sadie & Jerry Corbitt, one granddaughter and grandson-in-law: Stacey & Danny Hinson; three great grandchildren; Hunter Hinson, Dancey Hinson and Huston Hinson all of Homerville, GA; one sister: Melba Griffis, Homerville; three brothers: Henry Bruce Delk & Roy Delk, Homerville and Ed Rivers Delk, Lake City, FL and several other relatives.
Services for Mrs. Smith will be held Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at two o’clock from the Lang Country Church.
Interment will be in the Lang Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Roundtree Funeral Home.
