NAYLOR
June Carolyn Sirmans Grantham' 63, of Naylor passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Clinch County to the late June and Bessie Sirmans. Before retirement she worked as a registered nurse. She was a member of West Hill Church of Christ. Her son, Walter Glenn Corbitt precedes her in death.
Survivors Include her husband, Johnny Grantham of Naylor; two daughters and son-in-law, Carla and Fred Brewer, Waycross, Candace and James Daniel, Valdosta; four sons and daughters-in-law, Lander (Pete) Corbitt, Jr., Naylor, Matthew Corbitt, Sr., Naylor, Johnny and Juanita Grantham, Jr. Goshen, Ind., Jimmy and Laura Grantham Hohenwald, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; sister, Betty Steedley, Valdosta, Mary Edith and Curtis Pullen, Clewiston, Fla.; brother,Rowan and Rebecca Sirmans, Pearson; special friend, Helen Rose, Valdosta; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005 at the Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Lakeland with burial following in the Fender Cemetery. Mrs. Grantham will be placed in the church one hour prior to services. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home. NASHVILLE
Sarah Margaret Gaskins, 91, of Nashville died Monday, Nov. 28, 2005 at Berrien County Hospital.
She was born on Sept. 15, 1914 in Berrien County to George and Honor McMillan Grantham. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was the widow of Lonnie Gaskins who died in 1972.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Kay Barnes of Fitzgerald, Ruth Goolsby of Nashville; two sons, Max Gaskins, Nashville, Bobby Gaskins, Norcross; 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, George Grantham, Jr. of Lubbock, Texas.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005 in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Bishop officiating. Burial will be held in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. this evening. -- Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville

Louise Futch Johnson' 87, of Ray City passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2005 in Berrien Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born on March 3, 1918 in Berrien County to the late Haywood and Millie Futch. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ray City. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband J. Howard Johnson.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Tanya JohnsonCalhoun, Ga.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and George Baggs, St. Mary's, Ga., Jemima and Wayne Horten, Ray City; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, James Haywood Futch, Winterhaven, Fla.; sister,Nelda Connell RenwickEdinburgh, Scotland; several nieces and nephews.
