VALDOSTA —
Ian Stanley Burgin, 74, of Nashville, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 9, 1937, in Western Australia to the late Leslie George Burgin and the late Laura Lillian Kennedy. He was a minister of the Nashville Church of Christ. He was also a fixed base operator for the Cook County Airport and operated Burgin Flying Service. He was also active with the Civil Air Patrol at Moody Air Force Base.
He is survived by two brothers, Noel Burgin and Max Burgin of Warren Wood, Victoria Australia.
The family will honor his request for cremation. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. — Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville
