VALDOSTA —
Becky Williams Moody, 61, of Valdosta, died suddenly on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at South Georgia Medical Center. Born in Donaldsonville, on Dec. 2, 1950, she was a 1968 graduate of Valdosta High School and had worked in the banking industry for several years. Becky loved gardening and being outside working with her flowers.
Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Jill Grondahl of Valdosta; granddaughter, Emily Grondahl of Valdosta; her father, Bill Williams of Donaldsonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg and Debbie Williams of Watkinsville, Steve and Tammy Williams, Bill and Jenny Williams of LaGrange, Chuck and Janet Banks of Lake Park; numerous nieces and nephews.
Becky was preceded in death by her mom, Sybil Banks.
Service for Becky Williams Moody will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Clay Williams will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday morning prior to the funeral from 10 a.m. until service time.
