VALDOSTA —
Jerry Ellis Cooper, 67, of Douglas, Ga., passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Cooper was born on May 17, 1945, in Valdosta to the late Ellis Redding Cooper and Alice Lorraine Baker Cooper.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Cooper of Douglas; two daughters, Dian (Mike) Morrison, Missy Keen and the late William Keen, both of Valdosta; one son, Terry Ellis
(Lora) Cooper of Valdosta; 10 grandchildren, Sabrina Morrison, Amanda Bezanilla, Vicky Singletary, Christy Burkhalter, Megan Stain, Alicia Layton, Nickkie Myers, Sherry Cooper, Brittany Cooper, and Kayla Cooper, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at a later date. — Sims Funeral Home of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
