-- — Ottis E. Beverly, 62, of Lake Park passed away early Saturday night September 22, 2012 at his residence after a lengthy illness.  He was born May 16, 1950 in Columbus, GA to the Late Donnie Olin and Dollie Mae (Watson) Beverly. He was a dock worker with Roadway Express for 32 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Azalea City Church of God in Valdosta. He will be remembered for being an avid Georgia Tech fan. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters Opal Fannin and Vercie Jarvis.

Survivors include his Wife, Barbara A. Beverly of Lake Park, Ga.; Daughter, Kimberly Beverly of Lake Park, Ga.; Son, Loren Beverly of  Lake Park, Ga.; Son and Daughter-in-law, Chris and Cindy Turner of Lake Park, Ga.; Daughter, Angela Yelverton of  Kannapolis, N.C.; Grandchildren, Kaylee and Katelynn Beverly, Shelbie Moore, Taylor Turner, Emery Turner, Ciera Yelverton, Gage Turner, Chris Aaron Turner and Jamie Yelverton; Sister, Jeanette Lawhorn of Thomasville, Ga.; Brother, Allan Beverly of Ocoee, Fla.; Brother, Robert White of Easley, S.C.; a number of Nieces and Nephews.

 Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.  Tuesday September 25, 2012 in the Azalea City Church of God with burial in Copeland Cemetery in Lake Park, GA.
