Cecil Edgar Weeks, 56, of Sparks, formerly of Cumming, Ga., passed away June 10, 2012. Mr. Weeks was born Oct. 20, 1955, to Loyd and Jackie Yarbrough Weeks. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and worked in refrigeration.
Survivors include his mother, Jackie Weeks of Sparks; wife, Mylinda Weeks of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua Mathew and Andrea Campbell Weeks of Doraville, Ga..; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Sidney and Joyce Weeks of Mill Springs, N.C., Ronald and Linda Weeks of Sparks.
Mr. Weeks was preceded in death by his father, Loyd Weeks.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary James officiating. Interment will follow in Weeks Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Purvis Funeral Home.
