VALDOSTA —
Phillip Lee Kult Sr., 72, of Valdosta, passed away Friday night, Dec. 28, 2012, at Langdale Hospice House after a lengthy illness. He was born in Romney, Ind., on June 21, 1940, to the late Henry Phillip and Mary Frances (Chapman) Kult. He retired from Equifax Insurance Company.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Leora Kult of Valdosta; three daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Lou Varsallone, Lantana, Fla., Carol Fitch, West Palm Beach, Fla., Kimberly and Gaven Hall, Valdosta; two sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip Kult and Sherry Lee, Fortaleza, Brazil, Tim and Angela Kult, Jacksonville, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Robert Scott Kult, Brent Moore Jr., Eden Moore, Heather Varsallone, Katie Fitch, Cassie Fitch Waldeck, Phillip Lee and Vincent Lee; and four great-grandchildren.
As per his wishes, he will be cremated and the family will hold a memorial service at Southland Church, off Hwy. 84, Valdosta, on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at 4 p.m.
