Louie Leroy Anderson

- — Louie Leroy Anderson, 66, of Baltimore, Md., passed away on Jan. 12, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.

Louie was born in Baltimore, Md. to Louis and Lillie Mae (Foster) Anderson on Sept. 25, 1946. He graduated from Frederick Douglas High School. He was in the Marine Corps and served one tour in Vietnam. Following his military career he worked briefly at the US Postal Service, then joined the Baltimore City Fire Department and served until he retired on Sept. 16, 2003.

 Louie was a loyal Baltimore Ravens fan. Louie is preceded in death by his father, Louis Anderson, his mother, Lillie Mae (Foster) Anderson, his brother, James T. Anderson and his sisters, Patricia Victoria Rogers, Ida M. Anderson and Sandra L. Rogers.

Louie is survived by his wife, Annette A. Anderson of Valdosta, his son, Adrian Thomas, his grandchildren, Alaysia Thomas, Amante Gregory of Baltimore, Md., his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Ruby Holmes of Delaware, Frieda Holmes, mother of Annette, (deceased), his sisters-in-law, Christine Talamantes of Virginia, Tylla W. Williams, Cindy Holmes and Amy Wiegenstein of Georgia, his nephew, Marcus and (Carla) Williams of New Jersey, his nephew, Toby Talamantes of Virginia, his faithful Great Danes, Shadoe and Faith and extended loving family members.
