Harrie Clifford Davis, 91, of Alapaha died Thursday Feb. 7, 2013 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 17, 1921 in Ben Hill County to the late John Quincy Adams Davis and the late Nancy Honor Livingston. He was a retired farmer and attended St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife: Erma Elvira Brogdon Davis who died in 2010; 2 sisters: Nettie Mae Griner and Clara Hancock.
He is survived by two daughters: Louise (Billy) Steverson of Alapaha and Glenda Davis of Alapaha; three grandchildren: Michael Steverson, Darren Harper, and Dwain Steverson; five great-grandchildren; sister: Kate Wilson of Nashville.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at 3 p.m. in the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Connell, Rev. Kevin Stone, and Rev. Bobby Fussell officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Luke Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. — Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville
