VALDOSTA —
Willie Lee Tomlin of Jacksonville, Fla. passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Acosta-Rua Center in Jacksonville, Fla. He was born July 3, 1941 in Stockton, Ga. to the late Mr. Robert Tomlin, Sr. and the late Mrs. Maggie Bines Tomlin. He was of the Baptist faith.
His memory will always remain with his devoted wife Mrs. Juanita Tomlin of 26 years. He also leaves to cherish his memories two children, Juan L. Tomlin of Columbus, Ga. and Willette Tomlin of Lakeland, Ga.; two step-children, Eric Harper (Ametra) and Dana Harper (Kevin); mother-in-law, Evelyn Euve of Gates, N.C.; daughter-in-law, Carrie Tomlin; son-in-law, J. R. Knight; two brothers, Robert Tomlin (Gladys) of Pahokee, Fla. and John W. Tomlin (Johnnie) of Valdosta; three brothers-in law, Lawrence Euve (Jennifer) of Baltimore, Md., Jimmy Eure (Gloria) of Gates, N.C. and Elvis Euve of N.C.; two sisters-in-law, Queen Bonner of Baltimore, Md. and Ester Euve of Gate, N.C.; grandchildren, Erica Harper, Kiana Jones, Willow Wright, Cornelius Tomlin, Eric Wiseman, Haufice Ellis, Jr., E.J. Harper, Eric Harper, Jr., J.D. Harper and Khalil Prester; four nephews, Dr. Herbert Tomlin (Dorothy) of Albany, Ga., Robert Tomlin, Jr., Fexis Tomlin, Craig Tomlin (Cheryl) and Morris Burgess (Loretta) of Albany, Ga.; special niece Gloria Tomlin Bradley (Joe) of Valdosta; and a host of great nieces, nephews, special cousin Erma and Joe Lingo; special friend, Willie C. Pollard of Jacksonville, Fla.; and many friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 1 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church. The Rev. Solomon Wade, pastor and the Rev. Marvin Sermons will officiating. Burial will follow in Foreman Cemetery. — Scott And Roberts Mortuary
