Hazel Neal Shelton, 61, of Adel, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at her residence. Mrs. Shelton was born May 28, 1951, to the late George and Maggie Baker Neal.
Survivors include her brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Julie Neal of Adel, Donald West of Lake Blackshear, and Willie and Becky Neal of Dalton; two sisters and brother-in-law, Linda Conger of Adel, Maybell and James Centerfitt of Andersonville.
Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Ray Shelton; and one son, Bobby Ray Shelton.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with the Rev. Harris Whitman officiating. Interment will follow in New Life Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Purvis Funeral Home.
