VALDOSTA —
Mary “Molly” Brogdon, 87, of Alapaha, died Monday, June 25, 2012, at Coffee Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 15, 1925, in Berrien County to the late Isom Swilley and the late Mary Sherrod. She was a homemaker and retired administrator for Open Door School. She was a member of the Open Door Mission in Alapaha and was the widow of John Lucious Brogdon.
She is survived by two sisters, Tonnie White of West Green and Betty Buttram of Tampa, Fla.; two brothers, Billy Bruce and Jimmy Bruce, both of Tampa.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Open Door Mission with the Rev. Kenny Greenway officiating. Interment will follow in Glory Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service on Thursday at the church.
Flowers are asked to be omitted and her request was that memorials be made to Open Door Mission at 123 Open Door School Road, Alapaha, GA. 31622. — Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville
